five...

Dexter turned five shortly after his first day of Kindergarten... 

aaagh kindergarten again... 

sending two children out into the world in such a short period of time is stressful....

sort of like have two children in less than two years....

 

these two are best buddies....
they ignore everyone else to play with each other at recess

this one...
he melts my heart


 and cracks me up....

 

you never know what he will come up with while avoiding going to sleep..... 

(he is in my PJs on my floor with my pillows)

he remains entirely generous and flexible... settling once again for a birthday in the field

 

party time around here is an exercise in restraint...

...no theme or fancy decorations

... just a couple friends

...you could all it lazy

... but I choose to call it simple living

 

decorate your own train cars.... 

or shove as much candy in your mouth as you can...
