Banff

So I have been trying to do this blog for nearly 2 week,  I am determined to get this one done no matter how late or uninspired it is.  Yesterday my IT guy {aka my brother Ryan} taught me some basics of HTML so now I don't feel like pulling my hair out while I upload this blog....

The forecast for the week was full of rain, more rain and some cold. We were so thankful that my parents were staying in a hotel with a pool. Even though the weather was rough we dress appropriately and ventured out.

Our last Day in Banff it poured, we struggled to keep the camper warm and to dry some clothes,  the rain quit for awhile, so we venture into town for a bike ride by the river...

{last day Calgary Zoo,  it poured, but we enjoyed the giraffes, tigers, mama and baby gorilla, and everyone's favorite was the penguins}

Even though it rained every single day it was a wonderful trip. Growing up as an Albertan, Banff was avoided at all cost during the summer because of was so full of *tourists*.   Banff, it is jammed packed with people, parking is difficult, photos without extra people are a struggle,  *but*  where else in the world can you find 45/62 license plates,  hear multiply languages all spoken at once,  find out your cashier used to live 50km from home. 

Thousands of people crammed into one tiny place awed by how small we are compared to the expanse of mountains.
